Grammarly Acquires Superhuman to Bolster AI Productivity Suite
Grammarly has acquired premium email startup Superhuman in a strategic MOVE to expand its AI-driven productivity tools. The deal brings together two companies renowned for their elegant design and focus on professional communication. Superhuman founder Rahul Vohra and key team members will join Grammarly to develop advanced AI agents for email management.
The acquisition follows Grammarly's recent purchase of Coda and a $1 billion investment aimed at scaling its AI capabilities. Superhuman, last valued at $825 million, had raised over $114 million from investors including Andreessen Horowitz and Tiger Global. While the transaction price remains undisclosed, the merger highlights the accelerating consolidation of AI-powered productivity platforms.
With professionals spending upwards of three hours daily on email, Grammarly's integration of Superhuman's technology signals a push toward AI-assisted workflow optimization. The combined expertise positions Grammarly to compete in the increasingly crowded enterprise productivity space.
